Double Chocolate Chip Blondie Bites
Happy Friday everyone! I hope everyone had a lovely week. E and M will be visiting next weekend. I’m super excited, as I’ll get to see my two cute little nieces. Which means this weekend, I’ll have to start cleaning. Yuck! It’ll be the first time they’ll be seeing our new place since Chris and I bought it last fall. I gave a quick tour via FaceTime but that doesn’t really count. I’m dreading having to scrub and clean, but at least I’ll have these yummy blondie bites to look forward to after my cleaning.
Oreo White Chocolate Chip Blondies
My first attempt at making scones yesterday failed miserably. Not only was it unappealing, it was a bit on the dry side. There’s something about baking where you have to knead and/or shape the actual dough that frightens me. I’m sure I will eventually take another stab at it but it won’t be anytime soon.
So this morning, I was back in the kitchen again. I wanted to bake for Hanna, my Massage Therapist who has been working with me on my back pain issues. She has been such a tremendous help that I wanted to thank her. I was so relieved that these blondies turned out so well! After yesterday’s kitchen faux pas, I was a bit worried. So if you’re hankering for something sweet and if you like Oreos (who doesn’t?), you’ll love these!
Pumpkin Eggnog Blondies
I baked these blondies today for my new neighbors. Since this is our first holiday in the new house, I wanted to do something nice for them. I wanted to bake something with a festive ingredient and also something that was easy to package. Chris and I sampled these blondies and were delighted to discover that they tasted like a pumpkin pie with eggnog. So if you dig pumpkin pie, bake a batch of these blondies today!
Peanut Butter Cup Blondies
I recently discovered blondies. They’re all over the baking aisles at the market during the holiday season and for the longest time; I didn’t know what they were. I finally looked it up and found out it was a lighter version of brownies. And since I had some dark peanut butter cups lying around, which I’m not too fond of (I’m a milk chocolate fan), I thought —why not bake some and throw those in there?
