I came across this recipe on Epicurious while looking for an easy and quick chicken dinner. This was tasty and very easy to put together. The only thing I would do differently the next time I make this is dredge the chicken in some flour before putting it into the pan. I didn’t have basil, as the recipe called for and used whatever I had in the fridge. The mix of parsley, mint and tarragon paired nicely with the chicken and sun-dried tomatoes. If you’re looking for an easy chicken dinner, look no further!

Fusilli with Wild Mushrooms and Bacon
I love weeks where there is a holiday. It makes the week go by either fast or extremely slow. This week is going by quickly! When I used to have a 9-5 job, those weeks are the toughest, as they dragged on and it took the weekends forever to arrive. Now that I’m a homemaker/food blogger, every day goes by fast!
Penne with Chicken Sausage and Crimini Mushrooms
I generally don’t care for cream in my pasta dish, mainly because it’s too rich and heavy. However, I had some cream I needed to use up so I decided to add it to my pasta. It was divine! You can’t even tell there’s cream in it. For a pasta dish with cream, it was rather light. So if you’re worried about this dish being too rich and heavy, don’t be!
Homemade Butter
Earlier this month, I discovered how easy it was to make butter at home. Thanks to the lovely and talented Lindsay of { fleur de sel } for posting her wonderful Freshly Churned Butter recipe, I will never go back to store-bought butter again, except for baking and cooking. Why bother when you can easily make them yourself? All you really need is heavy cream and a mixer and voilà, you have butter! So if you haven’t gone over to { fleur de sel }, take a look at some of Lindsay’s delicious recipes.
