It’s Friday! E and M will be visiting us this weekend. Kimi has already planned the weekend out so it’ll be lots of family time. I can’t wait to see my nieces! 🙂 We are celebrating K’s 2nd birthday so it should be lots of fun!

I know today’s recipe doesn’t exactly scream Mother’s Day but it’s so darn cute and tasty that I thought I’d share it anyway. Plus it’s so easy to put together and it’s finger food! That being said, this is a scrumptious starter for any brunch, even a Mother’s Day’s brunch.

Bacon Wrapped Hot Dog with Kimchi Relish
Earlier this year, Chris and I visited Ann Arbor and we stopped by a Korean diner in Kerrytown for lunch. Chris ordered a bacon wrapped hot dog deep fried with kimchi on it. It was pretty interesting! It inspired me to make my own at-home version so here it is —slightly healthier. I don’t normally eat hot dogs but when you get the organic kind with no nitrates or additives you feel better about eating it.
